VIDEO: Jenna finishes filming Beetlejuice 2 in Boston

Onlookers capture last two days on set

With the resolution of the SAG AFTRA strike, Jenna has been literally “back in the saddle” on the set of Beetlejuice 2 in Boston. On November 15, she was spotted shooting a few final scenes, as the film—the sequel to the 1988 movie starring Michael Keaton—prepared to wrap.

The hotly-anticipated new film also sees the return of Winona Ryder and director Tim Burton.

Jenna, who plays Astrid, the daughter of Lydia Deetz (Ryder), was spotted riding a Schwinn bike and later jogging down the road.

The original Beetlejuice film saw married couple Barbara (Geena Davis) and Adam Maitland (Alec Baldwin) die in a car accident, with their ghosts haunting their former home. In a desperate attempt to keep the home from being taken over and remodeled by the Deetzes, they call upon Beetlejuice, a “bio-exorcist” (Keaton) to scare the family away. Beetlejuice then wreaks havoc on Charles (Jeffrey Jones) and Delia Deetz (Catherine O’Hara) as well as their daughter Lydia, who is the only one able to see the ghosts.

Also in the all-star list for this film is Willem Dafoe and Monica Bellucci. It will be in theaters on September 6, 2024.
