2018 – Jenna played Izzy on the Disney show Bizaardvark, episode “The BFF (Before Frankie Friend)”.
2019 – Jenna played a main role of Ellie Alves in season 2 of YOU (two clips below).
In her book “It’s All Love”, Jenna talked about the challenge of preparing for her role in You, particularly the scene in the next clip. This is what she said:
Actors have to cry on demand, but after working on a Disney show for so many years, I was out of practice. When I started filming season 2 of You, I knew I would have to cry. And it wasn’t just a simple tear. It was a physical scene, very intense. I stressed about it so much that I had trouble getting into the scene and connecting with the emotions. I was afraid to go all in, embarrassed that my new colleagues would think I was over acting or trying too hard. I respected the actors around me so much that I was worried what they would think of my performance. But when I finally allowed myself to let go and just live in the moment, it went so well. It’s the scene I’m proudest of in the entire project.
